I was fighting for my health on two fronts. At first, I was experiencing a general feeling of malaise—an overall feeling of discomfort and a lack of energy. The condition was compounded when I tested positive for COVID-19. It was a tough fight, but thankfully I was admitted to Creekview for my recovery. The entire team there was on my side. The therapy staff was awesome—they got me moving without pushing me too hard. The dietitian recommended changes in my diet, and the recreation department lifted my spirits. I’m back home now and much better. My experience at Creekview Nursing and Rehab was really great. Everyone there deserves an A+ all the way!

I had been hospitalized with some serious complications from type 2 diabetes—at risk for high blood pressure, heart disease, and kidney failure. The hospital put me on medication to protect me, but when they discharged me I was extremely weak, unable to even dress or bathe on my own. Fortunately, I landed at Creekview Nursing and Rehab for my recovery. The physical and occupational therapists put a personalized rehab program in place for me, and together with the changes in my diet and activities, I was gradually able to take care of myself again. The team at Creekview gave me my independence back. I loved it. The way they took care of me was great. If not for them I’d still be stuck in bed. Now I’m going home!

I had a sudden severe stomach ache, followed by a fever. The pain was intense. I couldn’t eat and I could hardly breathe. I was hospitalized with acute pancreatitis and a viral infection. Once the symptoms were under control, I was discharged and admitted to Creekview Nursing & Rehab Center. The team there wasted no time. The physical, occupational and speech therapists immediately evaluated me, and, in their words found me to have “declined independence in functional mobility and self-care tasks.” In other words, I needed help—and they gave it to me! The therapists pushed me hard, but knew when to let me relax. The nurses and aides were always there to help me get comfortable. Within two weeks I had my strength back, and I walked out of Creekview on my own. I’m home, I’m walking, and I’m ready to dance—thanks to the great team.
